PITTSFIELD, MA – It may be just about six weeks away from the start of the season at Lebanon Valley Speedway, but things are heating up for Paul Gilardi, who on Friday announced the addition of Polson Electric to the list of marketing partners for his team in 2017.

The Pittsfield, MA-based company provides electrical services to Berkshire County in Massachusetts and surrounding regions.  Polson installs and services a full line of Generac, Guardian, and Kohler power generation systems, which they have been doing since 1987 and offers 24-hour emergency service.

“Having a company like Polson as part of the team is a big shot in the arm for us,” Gilardi said.  “This helps give us some stability as we look to build our racing program.  I can’t thank Paul (Polson) and his group enough for the support.  Hopefully, we can make them proud.”

It was just announced last month that Gilardi will be utilizing a brand-new HigFab chassis for the new season as a primary car (the team has a Bicknell as a back-up) while using Big Block engines built in-house.

The team will begin their point season when Lebanon Valley has their annual lid-lifter on Saturday, April 22nd.  However, the team may choose to run an event or two away from their home track to gain valuable knowledge about the new car.  A schedule of events is currently being formulated for the new year.
